Women's Fall 2009 Bible Study

We will be offering two studies during the upcoming Fall Session for Women's Bible Study. The session is September 3rd - November 19th, 2009. There will be two study times available:

1. Thursday mornings 9:30 - 11:30 AM; childcare by reservation only


2. Thursday evening 7:00 - 9:00; no childcare available
   
   
   

#1 "How Majestic is Your Name: A Study on the Names and Character of God."

We will examine the following Names of God: Elohim,Jehovah, El Shaddai, Adonai, Jehovah-Jireh,El Roi, Jehovah-Rophe, Jehovah-Sabaoth,Jehovah-Nissi, Emanu-El, Jehovah-Shalom,Jehovah-Rohi,Jehovah-Shammah,Jehovah-El Emeth,Jehovah-Maginennu,Jehovah-Or,El Elyon, and other Names of God and their parallel in the New Testament Names of Jesus.

#2 "Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman"

The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner.
