Baptist’s AWANA Ministry meets during the school year. Children
age 3 through 6th grade may join age group clubs.
The AWANA Ministry provides an exciting and nurturing
opportunity for children to be evangelized and discipled in the
Christian faith by hearing the good news of the gospel,
memorizing Scripture, forming relationships and participating in
service projects. Children are grouped according to birth date
of grade level: Cubbies (3-4 yr. olds), Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd
grade), and Truth and Training (3rd – 6th
grade). Weekly activities include council time, handbook time
and game time. Awards are earned for participation, Scripture
memory and completing projects. As a ministry to children and
families, AWANA exists to partner with parents for the faith of
the next generation.
