Spring Session of Women’s Bible Study

We are offering two studies this session.
The first is an in depth study of God’s Covenant Promises. In this study we will take an look at God’s covenant with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David. Through studying God’s progressive revelation in these covenant promises, we will see how they relate to the New covenant, the kingdom of God and the promises we can claim as ours as heirs in that kingdom through faith in Christ Jesus.
The second study is Beth Moore’s new study, James: Mercy Triumphs. James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Cost of this study is $15.
When you read Genesis 1 and 2 are you more interested in learning how God formed the Earth or are you serious about how God’s word is to form you? Pastor Tony explains how the first statement of Genesis was shattering to the predominant world views of the day and when the book of Genesis was written it was a radical slap in the face to the people of that day…and more!
