This sermon in our series on “The Basics” will focus on the clarity of Scripture. After worshiping the Lord through the Lord’s Supper and baptism Pastor Tony starts with John 3:16 to answer the question, “Can we really understand the Bible?” There are parts of the Bible that are complicated and difficult to understand, but God has revealed to us in the Bible everything He intends for us to know with certainty.

Pastor Tony begins a new series on the Five Solas of the Reformation. The Five Solas are Latin phrases that embody the core beliefs of Christianity that were recovered during the time of the Protestant Reformation; they are as follows: Sola Fide (Faith alone), Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone), Solus Christus (Christ alone), Sola Gratia (Grace alone), and Soli Deo Gloria (to the glory of God alone). Pastor Tony preaches on faith alone from Hebrews 11.
