Life University Classes

Come join us Sunday night, November 11 at 5:30pm!
We will be having

LIFE University*

with three (3) different classes. The classes will be:

(l) The Will of God– Rick Davidson will be leading this class. Have you ever asked or heard questions like, “How can I find what God wants me to do?”, “Who is it that God intends for me to marry?”, “What kind of business does God want me to be in?”, “What line of work should I follow?”, “Where should I live?” And then, “How will I know when God is speaking to me?” “How much do my circumstances enter into the picture?” And, “How much am I to be led by what happens to me?” These are usual questions that arise from the subject, “The WiIl of God.”  Join us as we explore this topic together.
(2) God in the ordinary – Cam Potts will be leading this class.  “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”  This is a common Bible verse that most Christians know and quote, but do we really live this out?  We are to do all things to the glory of God because that is the very reason we were created, but we tend to think of this just in relation to a couple days each week when we do “Christian” things.
(3) Missions – Tony Rose will be leading this class. Being a missionary is not something you do, it is something you are.  We have confused ourselves concerning missions and missionaries.  Once we defined a missionary as one who goes to a foreign country to do the work of the gospel we developed a special class of Christian that frees some of us from doing the work of missions. Yes, it is a missionary that travels to a foreign land to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  But, that is not the total definition of a missionary.  Every Christian is a missionary.  Every one of us has the privilege and responsibility to live the gospel and share the gospel.  Being a missionary is not determined by where you live but by how you live.
Developing a heart for missions is the first step to becoming a “missionary”.  Come join us in LIFE University and learn to see the world and your world in a new light.

*LIFE University classes are held on the second Sunday of every month from 5:30 – 6:30 pm
